The Supreme Court of South Carolina ordered the former White House chief of staff to testify before a grand jury in Atlanta as part of its investigation into former President Donald Trump.

A panel of five justices unanimously upheld the lower court judge's order to comply with the grand jury subpoena. The supreme court was asked to stop the subpoena.

The justices found the arguments made by the Appellant to be without merit.

The Fulton County grand jury is looking into the case of Trump trying to get Georgia election officials to change their minds about his loss to Biden.

The Georgia Secretary of State received a call from Trump four days before Congress confirmed Biden's victory. There was a call that Meadows was involved in.

The Georgia official was attacked on social media by Trump.

Georgia law does not give the grand jury the power to indict defendants, which is why his attorney filed a motion to the South Carolina Supreme Court.

One week after Lindsey Graham testified before the Georgia grand jury, the state supreme court ruled in his favor. Graham had asked the U.S. Supreme Court to quash the grand jury's subpoena for his testimony.
