The music service's annual retrospective begins rolling out today on iOS and Android.
YouTube Music

Music apps allow you to relive the songs and artists you streamed from the past year. Just a few hours after the new Apple Music Replay arrived, YouTube Music announced that it would be releasing a new version of its service.

This is the second year in a row that the personalization of the music service has been offered. It isn't yet live on our devices, but once it is, you'll find it by visiting the recap landing page in YouTube Music or searching for "2022 recap"

The most-streamed artists, songs, music videos and playlists are displayed in the 2022, recap. There are a few new statistics added to this year's version. Top Trends, Identity, and Hard-to- Find Content are some of the features on the site.

A story-style format with cards you can tap through or share is what YouTube Music uses. The arrow at the bottom of each story allows you to share your recap. The most-streamed songs from each season will be shown on the cards. You can add a slideshow of photos from each season if you want to personalize it further.

Apple and YouTube have music that can be played back. We could see that as early as this week.
