One of the survivors of the mass shooting at a Walmart in Virginia filed a $50 million lawsuit against the company on Tuesday, accusing it of knowing the store manager had a history of violence.

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday, Donya Prioleau claimed that the store manager who police say targeted specific employees in the attack had exhibited a pattern of disturbing behavior.

Bing was demoted and disciplined by the company, but was restored to his lead position.

According to Prioleau, many Walmart employees and managers had seen Bing exhibit "bizarre and threatening behavior" and that she had filed an internal complaint after he commented about her age.

According to Prioleau, the company should have known that Bing was violent and could hurt others.

Prioleau, who was working at the store at the time of the attack and said she injured her knee and elbow while escaping, said she has experienced and will continue to deal with "severe pain and suffering."

Walmart did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Forbes, though its chief executive and president have both condemned the attack, with chief executive John Furner saying it's "particularly painful as we have learned the shooter was a Walmart associate."

Bing bought a gun just hours before he opened fire on his coworkers and killed himself, police said. In the days after the attack, Bing was revealed to be a disgruntled employee who had no previous criminal history. The city said in a note on Bing's phone that he intended to spare some workers, before he added, "My God forgive me for what I'm going to do." Walmart issued a statement the morning after the shooting, writing, "we are shocked at this tragic event, and we are working closely with law enforcement."
