The design of the new phone is very similar to what we've seen before.
OnLeaks posted a photo of a render along with more info via SmartPrix. When compared to thePixel 7a's leaked renders, it seems like it's the same device. There is a camera shelf on the phone. The renders show the phone with a silver shelf.
The alleged early look still shows something we've seen before with its predecessor. The front-facing selfie camera on the Pixel 7a will have a punch hole. The phone's display is very thin, which will keep it in line with the other phones in the same price range.
The dimensions of the phone are said to be the same as the ones of the 7a and 6a. Since it's an a-series device, it's possible that the smaller phone feel will be offered with ever-so-slight adjustments to the numbers.
According to the leaks, the upcoming device could be white and gray. 5W charging is available on the 7a as well. There is an apparent lack of a 3.5mm earphone jack in the leaked renders.
The new mid-range device, which is rumored to be ceramic over the plastic back panel, could be in for some worthy upgrades.
The device could feature wireless charging, which would make it stand out among the best budget phones. The latest Tensor G2 chip and the flagship-level GN1 camera sensor could be seen inside the device. The same 50MP camera would be found in the Pixel 7a. The Sony IMX712 may be used for its ultra- wide lens.
It has been speculated that the Pixel 7a will have a 90Hz display.
