Shortly after he announced his candidacy, the Dr. Oz Show was canceled. The effort to revive Oz's daytime talk show about health has been dead on arrival according to RadarOnline. According to Radar, his former producers won't talk to him.
A source said that he couldn't even get a word in with his former producers. Dr. Oz is a social creature who likes to hear himself talk and it is starting to dawn on him that he is not wanted in Hollywood circles anymore. In the final days of the race, Oprah endorsed John Fetterman, who was Oz's opponent.
The campaign damaged Oz's reputation as media outlets reported on his questionable medical advice and naked opportunism. His medical research killed more than 300 dogs, he spoke at a high-dollar event in front of Hitler, and he made stupid comments about abortion, all of which hurt him.
A similar story was published by The Wrap about a potential Oz comeback and the fact that it would be difficult for daytime TV viewers to understand his views.
Oz could potentially switch to conservative media, but neither Fox News nor Newsmax has made him an offer, according to RadarOnline. He will probably make appearances on right-wing networks, but that may not go over well since he lost.
According to Joe Concha, the last thing conservatives want to hear is Dr. Oz giving political advice. I don't think a lot of people want to hear from Dr. Oz after he lost the Senate race.
