Mark Cuban is being sued by the same law firm that is representing the class action suit against Sam Bankman-Fried for the same reason. Noted, that's right.
"If I were him, I would be afraid of going to jail for a long time, but I don't know all the details," Cuban said.
We agree that Bankman- Fried's situation sounds bad.
The ongoing lawsuit that's come of it, and the fact that Cuban is accused of hawking unregistered securities in the form of high-yieldCrypto bank accounts, makes it sound pretty bad.
There are some differences in the cases against FTX. The platform wasn't as big as FTX. The FTX filing lists a total of 11 celebrities, but the Voyager suit only names Mark Cuban, Stephen Ehrlich, and the Dallas Mavericks organization.
Both exchanges are accused of using celebrity promotion to sway inexperienced investors into buying yield-bearing securities.
The Mavericks owner might have been a bit messed over by the crash. FTX was supposed to purchase Voyager in order to save it from doom.
Regardless of Cuban's situation, the "Shark Tank" shark says he's still a fan of the coin.
He didn't say if he's one of the people who's made any "mistakes."
There is more on the FTX suits.
