The entire board of directors has quit.

In the last few months, prosecutors and the Italian market regulator Consob have been scrutinizing the financial statements of Bianconeri. There was no wrongdoing by the company.

The loss for last season was a new record for the club.

The Board of Directors considered the focus and relevance of the pending legal and technical-accounting issues and decided that a new Board of Directors would be in the best interests of the company.

The vice-president and the chief executive have offered their resignations, but the board of directors has asked the latter to stay in his position.

The Italian leagues became one of the powerhouses of European football when Agnelli was in charge. The Biancos won nine titles in a row until the end of the year.

Inter and AC Milan have won the last two Serie A titles, and that's not good news for the Bianconeri.

Massimiliano Allegri was rehired by Agnelli 18 months later after he let go of him.

The financial blow to the club came when they were knocked out of the group stages of the European competition.
