The entire board of the club has resigned.

The club made a 254.3m loss last season, making it the worst in Italy.

In November of last year, the club said they were co-operating with police.

Revenues from player registration rights were investigated.

Among those under investigation were Agnelli and Nedved.

The board decided to step down due to the importance of pending legal and accounting issues.

The outgoing board considered to be in the best social interest to recommend that a new board of directors be put in place to address the issues.

While a new board is formed, the managing director will remain in his role.

The European Super League was created by Agnelli and others.

There are allegations of presenting false accounting information to investors and producing invoices for non-existent transactions against the company.

The Italian Football Federation launched an investigation into other clubs.

The new board will be appointed by shareholders on 18 January.
