Harbaugh said that Lamar Jackson's response to a critic on social media was out of character for the Pro Bowl quarterback.

Harbaugh talked to Jackson about the social media exchange.

Harbaugh urged his players to not get into the social media world after a loss. It won't be positive. It's not going to be a good place. That's reflected in Lamar's response, because he doesn't speak like that. He talks in a different way. He doesn't use words like that. I haven't heard him say that before.

Someone asked for over $250 million guaranteed like Jackson and games like this should not happen.

Jackson replied with a profanity and said that the fan never smelt a football field. The anti-gay phrase was added by him.

After 312 hours, Jackson's account was deleted.

You've been around him. Harbaugh said that he has one of the biggest hearts of anyone he knows. The way he treats people, the way he treats kids, the way he treats the media are all things you have seen. He's one of the biggest competitors I've had the pleasure of meeting. He takes them very seriously. Sometimes you are trapped by someone that is trying to bait you. It's not possible to live there. I don't think that's a place he wants to be, and that's certainly not something he wants to say.

Jackson was upset after another poor performance by the offense. In the first half, the Ravens were 0-of-5 in the red zone and had to settle for three Tucker field goals.

Harbaugh said that he was sure that he was frustrated just like everyone else. You don't want to live there after a game. I know he's aware of that.
