Musk has taken aim at Apple's App Store policies, amid claims that the company has threatened to deny access to the social networking site. According to Musk, Apple won't tell us why it has issues with the social networking site.
Musk railed against Apple's "tax" on in-app purchases and claimed the App Store owner has "censored" other developers. He said that Apple has stopped advertising on the social networking site. Apple wouldn't be the first big advertiser to do that.
Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why

This isn't the first time Apple has had a problem with the social media platform. In an op-ed recently published by The New York Times, Yoel Roth, the former head of trust and safety at Twitter, said that Apple reviewers flagged content on the micro-messaging service.
App reviewers had flagged instances of racial slurs and nudity on the service. The review procedures have the power to derail company plans and cause all-hands-on-deck crises for weeks or months at a time.
A request for comment was not responded to by Apple.
Musk didn't say if Apple is holding new updates to the service or threatening to remove the app from its store altogether There are a number of recent issues that could have made a difference.
According to The Guardian, a video of a terror attack at a mosque in New Zealand was not uploaded to the social media platform until after the fact. Activists are concerned about the rise in hate speech and reinstatemen t of high-profile accounts who were banned for violating hate speech policies. Musk said he would give "amnesty" to previously banned accounts.
The content that can be found in Apple's store is governed by strict rules. Parler was removed from the App Store due to its lack of moderation rules, but was restored after it implemented an artificial intelligence-based moderation system. Adult content was temporarily removed from the App Store.
