A group of Musk fans spent $600,000 to build a giant statue that features Musk's head on a goat's body, riding a rocket, and crashing their coins after taking the grotesque work of art public.

Over the holiday weekend, the great minds behind the Elon Goat token, an homage to the GOAT, decided to unleash upon the streets of Austin, Texas.

Insult to Injury

Commentators have noted that Musk hasn't yet acknowledged the homage, but the markets certainly have.

The makers of the coin held their unveil and drive-by of the statue on November 26th and the price of the coin has plummeted.

At its Thanksgiving Day high it was worth about $0.002 per coin, but as of right now it is worth less than a cent.

Since Saturday, the location of the statue has not been reported. It is not known if the new owner has seen it.

Is this the end of the machine? It will only be time that tells.
