AP College Basketball Poll 2022: Complete Week 4 Men's Rankings Released

Houston is the new top ranked team in the men's college basketball polls.

Since the preseason, the Tar Heels have been on top of the rankings, but they lost two games in the Phil Knight Invitation, including a four-overtime thriller against Alabama.

Kansas and Duke went down in the rankings as a result of the early- season tournaments.

Heading into Week 4, here is the latest top 25.

Neither team led by more than six points in the back-and-forth contest. In the four overtimes, Quinerly had 21 points and eight assists as Alabama won 103 101.

Quinerly said that the game was the craziest he had played in.

The Phil Knight Legacy saw the rise of another team, the Boilermakers, who won 10 or more games in three of the four games they played. Edey scored at least 20 points in each game and is currently averaging 21.7 points, 12.0 rebound and 2.3 blocks on the year.

Houston moved up to the top spot after all the other losses. The only game the Cougars played was a 49-44 win over Kent State that kept them perfect and moved them up the table.

Houston is the top ranked city in the country.
