An independent agency in Haxby is celebrating a move to larger premises with a two-day opening event.
Conexo Travel opened in Haxby in 2008 but had to close it's doors due to the swine flu.
During the Covid crisis, David Carruthers kept the agency's profile high by talking to the radio and sharing travel tips.
In July, Conexo Travel moved to larger premises at 45 The Village in Haxby, just 50 yards from the previous shop.
A travel inspiration zone is located in the new shop.
Upcoming Meet The Expert events will feature suppliers such as Silversea Cruises.
It was possible to meet regular clients on Friday and local shoppers on Saturday at the opening celebration.
He said it was a good time to get interested.
There were opportunities coming out of a bad situation when we picked up new customers who heard me on the radio.
Representatives from the Hays Independence Group joined the agency on Friday to celebrate.
