There can be no doubt that the man still has a lot of followers. A group of fans delivered a $600,000 sculpture of Musk to the company's headquarters in Austin, Texas. The richest man in the world didn't pay much attention to them.
In October, a group of people made a pilgrimage to the company's headquarters in order to promote their company, Elon GOAT token, or EGT. The company commissioned a sculpture to honor Musk and tell him that he is the greatest of all time. A goat is riding a rocket on top of a sculpture of Musk. The bust has a doge coin necklace. Musk has ignored their gifts thus far.
That's not the only thing. According to the Wall Street Journal, the rocket Musk is riding can move and point to the sky as if it is about to take off. There are gas lines at the back of the rocket that can be used to create flames. Kevin Stone sculpted Musk's head out of mirror polished aluminum for six months. Spectacle is an architecture and design company located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Representatives from EGT told the Journal that they wanted Musk to accept the gift at the event. The fans wanted Musk to accept the gift and send a message about it to his 100 million followers in order to draw attention to their token.
The executive in charge of development at EGT told the Journal that the token would be legitimized by Elon's tweets.
Sansalone has a plausible theory about what happened when Musk fell in love with Dogecoin. Dogecoin has a market cap of $12.50 billion and is ranked as the 8th most valuable token in the world. EGT has a market cap of $4.2 million and has a rank of 3020.
EGT didn't follow the same path as Doge coin. He didn't come out to claim his gift. He didn't say anything on the social networking site. Don't expect the sculpture to go into storage. It will be used by the EGT team to make an "Elon Santa" for Christmas.
