Tipto names Richard Forde as new chair

Richard Forde is the new chair.

Nick Hughes joined Princess Cruises in October.

During his time as a member of the group's leadership team, Forde was described as a very activeTipto member.

Forde began his career as a cruise ship photographer. He joined Newmarket Holidays 13 years ago after working at ROL Cruise, Travelscope and Mistral Holidays.

He said that they grew in stature with the trade and their agent partners after joining the group.

I am delighted and honoured to be taking over from Nick who has done a great job at Tippo.

I am absolutely delighted to welcome Richard as the new Tipto chair and look forward to working together in our 24th year of operation to further drive Tipto in an exciting year of growth.

Over a year ago, Tipto was saved from closing and became part of the spirit events and marketing business.

She thanked Nick Hughes for his help in keeping Tipto running during and after the Pandemic in 2020. We are eternally thankful.
