"It's ironic that Kevin was 19 years old when he committed this crime and they still want to move forward with this execution, but they won't allow his daughter who's 19 at this time in because she's too young," Nolan said.
Johnson was sentenced to life in prison for killing William McCentee. Mc Centee was a police officer in Missouri. According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, Johnson was accused of shooting Mc Centee in his car while he was responding to a call of fireworks being set off.
Ramey said in a statement that she is "heartbroken" that she won't be able to watch her father's execution.
Ramey said that he wouldn't be able to be with his father in his final moments.
Ramey said that she hoped the governor would grant her father clemency.
According to the statement, Ramey believes witnessing the execution would help her grieve.
