Creandum is one of the investors in the round. Amie is competing with a new wave of calendar startup. Amie believes that it can provide a better user experience.
The app combines your calendar with your todos. The todos will be next to your calendar in the left column.
If you drag tasks from the sidebar, you can put them in your calendar. You can see your events in a week view. Many people already use their calendar as a sort of todo app so that they don't forget about things
Amie encourages you to work this way. It's an opinion on the calendar. That approach is the right one if you want to build an app that competes with Outlook and Calendar.

There is also a social component to the game. You can see their profile pictures on the left side and check their availabilities by hovering over them. It is a good way to know if someone is available.
You can join a video call in one click. Amie can be used to send multiple links so that others can book a meeting.
Amie wants to integrate all the tools and apps that you already use to be your main productivity hub. You can see what your coworkers are listening to with the start of the company.
Amie has plans for more business oriented integrations with products. It is thought that Amie could eventually replace more tools.
If you want to try out Amie, you have to sign up for a wait list. The company will launch publicly at some point in the future.
There are people working for Amie. The startup would like to have a team of 20. A new todo list will be included in the next release.
