Ja Rule was called to give advice on how to set up a college basketball tournament because it wasn't what was advertised.

Indiana is a top 10 women's basketball team. The Mirage Hotel and Casino hosted a game between the Hoosiers and the auburns. It looked like a YMCA game from the pictures.

The players were told to bring towels from their hotel rooms because the tournament didn't give them any. There were no spectators on the court. The spectators sat in chairs around the court.

It took 40 minutes for medical personnel to arrive at the scene, and the game was delayed for over an hour because of it. One of the site coordinators apologized to all of the participants and fans for how disorganized the tournament was. The tournament was not held in Las Vegas over the weekend because the organizers were not there.

The tournament was sold to Indiana by saying it would be like the athlete's unlimited league. It was played at a convention center. It was terrible at the Las Vegas invitational. The court was the same as before.

This sham of a basketball tournament should lead to legal action being taken against the people who put it together. This was not a big event. A college basketball game was played in a hotel ballroom with a court, hoops, and balls. The accommodations wouldn't fly for a basketball game. Middle schools have bleachers.

Women flew across the country to participate in an event that was put together with a glue stick and scotch tape, instead of spending a holiday with their families. It was a waste of time and the participants were at risk. 40 minutes for medical care to arrive for a player with a head injury is not enough time.

The tournament providers should pay for the time and well being of these ladies. They should not be allowed to profit from the event.
