After four top 10 teams lost on the final day of the regular season, Michigan moved up to second in the AP poll.

For the eighth week in a row, the bulldogs are the top ranked team in the country. Michigan received five first-place votes.

After defeating Ohio State, the Michigan reached a season-high second place.

LSU and Oregon were among the teams that fell. LSU's loss to Texas A&M knocked them out of the top 10. The loss to South Carolina knocked it out of the top ten. Oregon's fourth-quarter collapse against Oregon State cost it a spot in the conference title game and five spots in the rankings.

Tennessee defeated Alabama on a last-second field goal at home earlier in the season.

Both Penn State and Washington are in the top 10. They haven't been in the top 10 since the end of the year.

South Carolina is back in the rankings after upsetting a top 10 team. After taking down Tennessee last week, the South Carolina Gamecocks beat a team. South Carolina was ranked in October but lost to Missouri.

Mississippi State was ranked for the second time this season.

Cincinnati is out for the second time this year. For most of the season, the Bearcats have been bouncing in and out. They were dropped out again after Friday's loss.

The Sun Belt championship game is still on despite the fact that Coastal Carolina dropped out.
