WHAS-TV reported that a child began to choke during school on November 21.
"With a kid his age, you would have to worry about something like that," his aunt said.
According to the outlet, his mother rushed to the school while first responders helped them. The two people were flown to a local hospital.
Boston School said on its Facebook page that it would be closing in the wake of the tragedy. Mental health services will be available to the community.

The school said that Landon was loved by his classmates and teachers. His family said he loved everyone around him.
Lauren told the news station that he wouldn't bury a baby.
