A horror movie based on Winnie the Pooh was reported earlier in the year. The internet freaked out when Pooh: Blood & Honey took the children's character and made him a serial killer. I don't know how that's possible if you read the title of the article.
Disney is working on a live-action remake of Bambi and some horror filmmakers are planning on doing the same thing. According to the director, the title deer will be a "vicious killing machine who hides in the wilderness" in the film. We all know and love the story of the 1928 movie. You can probably guess what the film's plot will be based on the subtitle "Bambi's out for revenge against the hunter who shot his mom"
The start date of the film is not known. Jeffrey said that the design of Bambi would be inspired by The Ritual. The director of Pooh will be producing it. The jury is out on whether this will lead to a weird Freddy vs. That is being kicked around.
If you were a big fan of Pooh, you will probably get a kick out of this. Continue ignoring it if you are not in that camp because you are already against it on principle. If characters are going to be in the public domain, things like this will be what we get.
