The team's College Football Playoff chances are in jeopardy after the team's loss to Michigan.

C.J. Stroud is unsure if he will play in a non-CFP bowl game if Ohio State is not in the College Football Playoff.

The top three teams in the AP's Top 25 are Georgia, Michigan and Texas Christian. USC is one of the top five teams to have lost this season.

As he is expected to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the NFL draft, it's no surprise that he is considering sitting out a bowl game. If the Buckeyes weren't competing for a national title, there wouldn't be any reason to get injured.

Entering Saturday's game, he had completed 66.4 percent of his passes for 2,991 yards and 35 touchdown against four turnovers, as well as rushing for 77 yards.

His performance against Michigan probably dropped him from being a contender. In Saturday's loss, he completed 31 of 48 passes for 349 yards and two touchdown.

In 12 games, he completed 71.9 percent of his passes for 4,435 yards and 44 touchdown, compared to six turnovers. He'll be a top pick even if he doesn't win the trophy, even if he takes a step back this season.

The USC quarterback has completed 64.9% of his passes for 3,480 yards and 33 touchdown in 11 games and is considered the front-runner for the award.

The Buckeyes finished the season with an 11-1 record, but they will have to wait to find out if they will play in the playoffs.
