There is a critical security flaw that has yet to be fixed.

The Project Zero team posted on its official website details on what this issue is and why it's so important that a fix for it comes out right away. There is a critical security issue affecting devices. There is a critical unpatched security flaw that could affect users of devices from the following companies:

There were five separate issues between June and July that dealt withkernel corruption. Another issue would lead to the disclosure of physical memory addresses. There would be a physical page use after-free condition with the remaining three issues.

Project Zero made it clear that these issues would allow an attack complete access to a phone's system and allow them to access broader user data if they chose to.

Project Zero says that a patch was released quickly to address these issues after they were brought up withARM. Even with the supposed fixes, the security issue still persists even after additional tests.

The "patch gap" is where companies can't find and fix issues. Companies would create the proper patches and send them out to affected users quicker in order to solve critical problems.

The fix provided by ARM is currently undergoing testing for the devices and will be delivered in the coming weeks according to a spokesman for the search engine. The patch must be taken by the partners to comply with future requirements.

When it will address the issues is something that has not yet been decided by the company.
