The original animated classic wasn't heartbreakingly morbid enough, so Hollywood decided 'Bambi' needs more than one hyper realistic version. Wouldn't it be great if there was a horror movie where the woodland creature is a vicious killing machine?

The live-action Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. Scott Jeffrey, the director of The Ritual, said that the movie's creature design was inspired by the movie.

Jeffrey said that the film would be an "incredibly dark retelling of the 1928 story we all know and love." Prepare for the possibility of a vaccine for the disease.

As the film moved into the public domain at the beginning of this year, Disney gave up its hold on the deer, but is still working on a live-action remake of the 1923 book.

If the orphan animal went beast mode and killed all the hunters instead of processing his grief and falling in love, what would it be like? This one is for you.

The production is going to start in January.
