The first of three funerals for their fallen teammates will be attended by the entire Virginia football team.
The celebration of life service for Lavel Davis Jr. will take place on Wednesday in North Charleston, South Carolina. The three men were killed on a charter bus after returning from a class trip. Mike and Marlee were both shot, but survived.
Jones has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
He has been charged with two counts of malicious wounding, as well as additional gun related charges. He is in a jail in Virginia. A case status hearing will be held in December.
The game between Virginia and Virginia Tech was canceled earlier in the week because players wanted to attend their teammates' funeral. The final two games of the season were not played because of the tragedy.
Over 9000 people attended the memorial for the three players at John Paul Jones Arena, including the entire team, family members, friends and loved ones.
