  • Elon recently shared his intentions to create a new phone.
  • It likely could be beyond the current Android and iOS operating systems.
  • The creator of Nothing, Carl Pei, says he's eager to see what Elon can accomplish.

While everyone was focused on Black Friday sales, Musk announced that he was going to create a novel phone that was outside of the current platforms.

He said he would take this step if things went wrong. Liz Wheeler, a political commentator, author, and host of a radio show, sent a message to Musk about the new phone.

Wheeler shared her opinion that Musk should make a new phone if Apple and Google removed the Twitter app from their stores.

She believes that half of America would favor opting for the new phone, which she thinks is a bad idea.

Wheeler thinks that it would be easy for him to create a phone because of Musk's success.

The experts in the tech industry started giving their opinions immediately after this message was sent. Carl Pei shared his opinion on the same as he responded to Musk.

Many of the responses implicated the unsuccessful attempts to create an alternative from various tech giants. Meta's Mark Zuckerberg tried to make a new phone that was an alternative to the ones on the market.

See also Microsoft, BlackBerry, Nokia, etc. who all had legacy, experience, well-established developer programs, and market power. They all failed. The market wants a duopoly, as do developers. And forking Android is not an option, as you surrender all Google services.November 26, 2022

Musk needs to fix the employees' layoffs and other unforeseen circumstances if he wants to keep his job.
