A Minnesota woman is charged with child torture and is accused of stealing her son's blood and treating two of her other children.
According to Fox Minneapolis, Borders is charged with three counts of child torture and stalking in the alleged abuse of her children: an 8-year-old girl, and two boys, ages 9 and11.
The 9-year-old boy was being watched by doctors. Borders claimed that the hospital was taking too much blood.
According to a court complaint, her children said she took blood from their brother and put it in a cup and flushed it down the toilet. She would do it before doctor's appointments.
The Minnesota driver is due to stand trial in March.
The 9-year-old told investigators that his mother kept drawing his blood and that it made him sleepy.

Borders self-diagnosed her children with brittle bones disease. The children had to wear casts and neck braces because they didn't have injuries.
The 11-year-old said his mother would put casts on him if he pretended to have broken bones. The child was in a cast for two years.
The children said that their mother would choke them and make them stand outside in the cold.
The 9-year-old boy said that he was never safe.

The state gave Borders money to care for the boy.
