The England team played out a dull goalless draw against the USA.

England are in a strong position to reach the last 16 despite the fact that the USA was on top for a long time.

They face Wales on Tuesday.

The players are a bit down but I am not unhappy. It's a game you can lose if you don't have the right mindset.

England's performance in the match was very different to the one they had in the opener against Iran.

It is hard to find that level again after such a comfortable win.

The two center-backs with the ball were outstanding. We didn't have a lot of zip in the last third.

  • What do England and Wales need to do to qualify for last 16?

I'm not upset. I'm happy with the mentality of the team, we had to show a different side to ourselves.

The USA are a difficult team and as we've seen in this tournament there a lot of results that aren't straightforward.

The strength of the opponent and the way they've defended made this game possible.

If England don't lose by more than four goals against Wales, they will make the knockout stage.

We are in a good position. We win the group if we win our last game. In the past two tournaments, we have been able to get out of the group, but we can't expect to do that all the time.

There's more to come.
