The Walmart night crew supervisor who shot and killed six of his co-workers Tuesday used a handgun he purchased the morning of the attack and left a "death note."
According to the new details, Bing legally purchased a 9 millimeter pistol from a local store on the day of the shooting.
The paperwork related to the gun purchase was found by officers.
The police were called to the scene after 10 pm. Less than a day after the attack was reported, the start of the holiday shopping season was just days away. The 16-year-old was one of the victims. A group of people were honored at a Thursday night event.
Bing died at the scene from a gunshot wound.
Bing recovered a note on his cellphone that showed the mass shooter had grievances about his co-workers.
Bing said in the note that he had been harassed by his co-workers. According to The New York Times, he was described as weird by his former colleagues.
Walmart said there is no justification for taking innocent lives. We are focused on the families who are grieving and supporting our associates.
One of the victims is in a critical condition.
