I think of the Terra/Luna mess. The downfall of Three Arrows Capital is similar. The rapid fall of FTX is not included.

Many people have kept their chins up despite all of the above. Venture investors are still writing checks, as evidenced by the fact that startups are still being founded and scaled in the web3 space. It's business as usual.

This year has seen a decline in the pace at which venture capital dollars are disbursed into web3 focused companies. Capital raised by companies dealing with cryptocurrencies fell in each successive quarter through Q3 2022, according to data examined by my alma mater.
