One month after Adidas ended its partnership with West, the company has announced that it is investigating new allegations of workplace misconduct.
West legally changed his name to Ye after working with Adidas. After Ye made racist and antisemitic comments and showed a porn video to executives, the company cut ties.
Adidas is investigating claims that senior leadership was aware of West's problematic behavior but turned their moral compass off. The letter was written by members of staff at both companies.
A spokesman for Adidas said that it was not clear if the accusations made in an anonymous letter were true. We have decided to launch an independent investigation to address the allegations.
Rolling Stone reported earlier this week that Ye showed explicit pictures and videos to some of the workers on the project.
