I am the anti-hero in Taylor Swift's song. I listen to the same song over and over and over again and I just love it. This Black Friday, I can get speaker deals from both Sonos and Google that will sound great with replays. Fortunately for my husband, friends, and anyone else in my vicinity, there are plenty of deals on headphones from our favorite brands, like Apple, and Beats, to drown out my music. The second generation of these earbuds come with a number of improvements, including longer battery life and better sound quality. The noise cancelation is top-notch and will allow you to drown out the rest of the world and watch that new true-crime show you've been dying to start.
AmazonTargetWalmart ($346)The Sony WH-1000XM5 may seem like amish-mash of letters, but they hold high regard among the WIRED staff. Our top choice in the category is this pair of headphones, they offer great sound, good looks, and 30 hours of battery life. That means I could listen to the song more than 500 times before my batteries die.
The rest of the world needs to be drowned out. The Sony Wireless Earbuds have eight hours of battery life. They're great for people who want to focus during work calls, listen to their favorite audiobook, or stream Taylor Swift's entire catalog before the Eras tour.
A good soundtrack can set the tone for your workout, and the Beats Fit Pro Wireless are some of our favorites for exercising on the go. These are comfortable to wear, the battery lasts a while, and the noise cancelation is great for tuning out any puffing on the treadmill next to you.
If you're looking for earbuds that fit a tad more securely, the Beats Powerbeats Pro is a good choice. They're great for working out, or even for someone who doesn't want to worry about a bud breaking free while they walk down Fifth Avenue. The Powerbeats Pros have a battery that lasts nine hours, but the case is not pocketable.
Jeffrey Van Camp was a former editor of WIRED. The headphones sounded great even though they were too bass heavy. You can pair the Beats Studio3 easily with your phone.
The Jabra Elite 7 Wireless Earbuds are the best noise-canceling earbuds on the market. Silicone tips, which are molded to fit your inner ear, make them great for the gym. We think they're worth it even though they were as low as $75 recently.
Cheap headphones are even cheaper. The Jlab Go Air Pop headphones can be used for up to eight hours before they need a charge. They have a lot of cute colors to choose from so you can listen in style.
The earbuds are comfortable, have great sound, and sit in an egg shaped case that supports wireless charging. The battery life is seven hours and the noise canceling does a good job. You're more aware of your surroundings if you use a transparent mode.

It's a good speaker system. It was really, really great. The Sonos One is a voice-controlled speaker with some of the best sound quality around, seamless setup, and sleek styling. If voice control isn't for you, you can get the Sonos One SL for less than the price of a microphone.
Adding a portable speaker to your picnics and parties makes them even more fun. We think the regular Roam is as good without voice control as it is without one. There is only one downside, the wireless charging pad isn't included.
It's possible to start a timer, play your favorite song, and answer questions about capybaras without missing a beat. It is also a great speaker. If you want to start your music, ask the assistant. You can use stereo sound.
