For the time being, the Los Angeles Clippers will be without their two best players.

There is no timetable for the return of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, according to Tyronn Lue.

George has not played in the past two games due to a injury. According to The Athletic's Law Murray, the seven-time All-Star will be reexamined in the next couple of days.

Leonard has been limited this season, so his status could be more concerning. He did not play against the Warriors because of the ankle injury he sustained in the Utah Jazz game.

He missed 13 of 14 games due to a knee injury.

Leonard came back for three games in a row. He played more than 20 minutes in all three games, but still only averaged 8.3 points per game.

Neither player is expected to have this be a long-term absence after Leonard and George underwent treatment.

The Clippers are off to a good start despite only having Leonard. They're sixth in the Western Conference on the strength of a defense that's second in rating and third in points allowed.

To be a title contender, the Clippers will need Leonard and George to be at their best. They have the third-worst offense in the NBA by scoring less than 10 points per game.

The Los Angeles Lakers will play back-to-back home games against the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers before embarking on a seven-game road trip.
