The type of gun used in the Colorado Springs shooting was similar to the one used in the Buffalo and Uvalde shootings.
Gutowski was asked if access to assault weapons has led to the amount of mass shootings in America.
Gutowski said that the Colorado Springs shooting suspect could have been barred from buying guns because of his criminal history.
He got into a back-and-forth exchange with Powers after he said that the two recent shootings show that it's not just about rifles.
