Just hours before Argentina plays Saudi Arabia in the World Cup, Mark Ogden is showing how empty the fan zone is. The time has come.

The Supreme Committee in charge of the organisation of the World Cup has offered refunds to football fans who were left without a place to stay because of unfinished fan villages.

Thousands of travelling fans have been given the option of staying in low priced camps in the desert, with basic facilities and communal washing areas.

You can watch the LaLiga, Bundesliga, and more on the U.S. based on your location.

The fan village at Rawdat al Jahhaniya is still incomplete, with many areas still under construction, with wash basins and toilets still to be installed.

With fans from all over the world complaining about the standard of the accommodations, the Supreme Committee has now authorized full refunds.

The Supreme Committee is aware that a number of fans have faced delays checking into the fan village due to the carelessness of the owners and operators.

Some of the units in these facilities have not met the required standards that were advertised to fans.

The Supreme Committee is focused on fixing the issues at these sites.

Fans who have been severely impacted by this issue will be offered full refunds as well as alternative accommodations which will be free of charge for the duration of their stay.

After attempting to speak to an operator of the official hotline, they were told that the system was under maintenance and that it would be called back tomorrow.
