The price is probably the most important factor when buying a new phone. It's not cheap to own an iPhone.

The cheapest version of the phone costs $799. The new Dynamic Island feature and a better camera are included in the pro version of the device.

If you want to upgrade to the Plus or Max version, you'll need to pay $100. The Pro Max with a terabyte of storage is the most expensive version of the phone.

It's not possible to get a more basic version with lessFunctionality but a smaller price tag. Apple doesn't sell an updated but low-budget version of its phones, and instead sells older models.

The cheapest model of the A53 5G is under $500, along with other high-end models.

I know I haven't spent a lot of money on my current phone, even though it isn't perfect and there are things about it that can frustrate me.

The battery life on the phone isn't great, and Apple has been sued for slowing down older phones.

Apple admitted that it was slowing down customers' devices when they downloaded new versions of its software in order to prevent their old batteries from shutting the phones off. Critics questioned if it was a move to encourage people to buy more expensive models.

"We have never done anything to shorten the life of any Apple product, or degrade the user experience to drive customer upgrades," a spokesman previously said. Our goal has always been to create products that our customers love, and making iPhone last as long as possible is an important part of that.

In November 2020 Apple agreed to pay $113 million to settle an investigation in the US and in March it paid $500 million in a class-action lawsuit.
