Matthew Stafford has been injured many times.

The veteran Los Angeles Rams quarterback was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a neck injury.

If John Wolford isn't 100 percent by Sunday, the starting job would go to Bryce Perkins.

The #Rams are expected to give young QB Bryce Perkins first-team reps this week, per me and @TomPelissero, paving the way for a potential start given injuries to starter Matthew Stafford and John Wolford. This would be the first start for the former UDFA from Virginia. pic.twitter.com/6b3Tfenw54

With Matthew Stafford out, Rams’ QB Bryce Perkins now will get the majority of work in practice this week. https://t.co/Yqt4y9gpjy

He didn't play in the Week 10 loss to the ArizonaCardinals.

It has been that kind of season for the Rams and head coach Sean McVay, with Cooper Kupp possibly out for the rest of the season after surgery on his ankle.

McVay said it was difficult to be without that pair in November. Those guys are the foundation of how you build it. You don't replace two players like that when they aren't on the field.

The Rams were playing poorly on the field. A franchise fresh off a Super Bowl title is 3-7 on the season.

He has been sacked 29 times because of a weak offensive line. He was sacked in 17 games last year.

Stafford and the Rams are going to miss out on the playoffs due to a lost season. They may be without their starting quarterback for the third time this season as they try to get their season back on track.
