Chelsea players celebrate
Chelsea have won all three of their Women's Champions League matches this season

Real Madrid was beaten by a 100% start in the women's section of the competition.

After a dull first half, the Blues took the lead in the 66th minute with a headed goal.

The points were secured with 15 minutes left in the game.

The group winner is five points clear of second-place Paris St.Germain.

The Albanian team defeated the last season's semi-finalists.

After returning to the top of the Women's Super League on Sunday with a win over Spurs, the Blues came into the match with a two point lead over Real Madrid.

The Kingsmeadow crowd was excited after a win over Paris St-Germain and a victory against Vllaznia in the European Championship.

In the first half, they came close through Fran Kirby's curling attempt.

There was a nervous energy at Kingsmeadow with Real Madrid growing into the game, but that was replaced with relief after Ingle's opening goal.

At the end of the game, they were able to add a third through two attempts by Niamh Charles.

Real Madrid second-best in London

Las Blancas have a good record against English teams in the European Championship having knocked out Manchester City for the second year in a row.

The visitors have only lost once this season, against Barcelona, who are third in the table.

Last year's quarter-finalists grew into the game after Esther Gonzalez's shot was blocked.

It was their only meaningful effort and they were beaten by the better side.
