Twin sons and daughters were born to a couple in Portland on Halloween in 1992.

The Ridgeway's had two "good-sized babies" from the embryos that broke the known record for oldest embryos resulting in births.

Philip Ridgeway told CNN of his twins. I was 5 years old when God saved the lives of Lydia and Timothy.

The twins' father said that they're our oldest children even though they're our smallest children.

The report states that the embryos were originally created for a married couple with a husband in his 50s and were frozen in 1992.

The Ridgeways got their embryos from the National Embryo Donation Center in Tennessee, where they were donated by the couple who originally created them.

It's not unusual for embryos containing the potential for life to remain viable after a long time. Emma and Molly were frozen in 1992 and had their births in 2017: and 2020.

The biological processes slow down if you're frozen at 200 degrees below zero. It doesn't really matter if you're frozen for a week, a month, a year, a decade, two decades.

An old story was used to show the effect.

It doesn't seem like a sperm or an egg or embryo in liquid nitrogen has time. It's similar to the Rip Van Winkle thing. It woke up 30 years later and didn't know it was sleeping.

Scientists say a huge drop in sperm count could threaten mankind's survival.
