  • Qualcomm has launched the new Snapdragon 782G chipset for mid-range devices.
  • The new mobile platform's CPU can reach clock speeds up to 2.7GHz and features Quick Charge 4+ for a battery charging boost of 50% in 15 minutes.
  • The new SoC also features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity which should provide users with a low-latency experience.

The next wave of mid-range phones should get a boost from the launch of a new Chipset fromQUALCOMM.

On the official product page of the company, there is a mention of the new 782G Chipset. This is an upgrade to its previous releases, the 778G and 778G+, as it takes features from those mobile platforms and improvements on the foundation set.

The new 782G mobile platform has a chip that can reach speeds up to 2.7 GHz. The Quick Charge 4+ will help phones charge up to 50% in 15 minutes, with the addition of the new CPUs.

The upcoming mid-range device strengthened by the 782G will support photos up to 200MP. The mobile platform will feature triple camera concurrentness. Users will be able to take selfies with a single tap.

Dedicated, shared artificial intelligence memory is included in the artificial intelligence engine of Qualcomm. The recently launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 features context-based Audio Analytics for automatic mic switch, background audio blur, and automatic volume control, as well as the Snapdragon 782G, which has the same feature.

Users will be able to experience premium sound during calls and jam sessions with the new chip. When on a call or listening to music, the 782G has a built in audio jack.

The new mid-range chip from the same company that powers the latest flagship phones is capable of supporting both wi-fi 7 and wi-fi 6 and should be sufficient for many devices.

There are two options for the new mobile platform. Those connecting to the internet via wi-fi can expect speeds to go up to a certain amount. They have a connection that is backed by security.

Users can use fast and global 5G connections thanks to the Snapdragon X53 5G Modern- RF system. The company has combined this technology with its mobile platform to bring a low-latency entertainment and working experience for users who are at home and away.

We won't have to wait long to see this chip in action as it's featured on the Honor 80.
