The San Francisco Giants sought the services of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry as part of their pursuit for Judge.

As part of their pitch, the Giants put Judge in touch with Curry's camp, hoping that the two superstars could connect as Judge weighs his decision.

Judge was in San Francisco for a couple of days.

Jon Morosi of MLB Network said that the Giants could table a contract offer this week.

The best free agent on the market right now is Judge, who set an American League record with 62 home runs last year.

The pool of potential suitors for the four-time All-Star is small, but that doesn't mean he can't get what he wants. The Dodgers are expected to make a play and a reunion with the Yankees is a possibility.

A team trying to sign the American League Most Valuable Player might as well exhaust all of the arrows in its quiver because Curry's involvement won't have a big impact on Judge's decision.

Tom Brady was part of the group that met Kevin Durant after the Boston Celtics tried to lure him away from Oklahoma City.

The 30-year-old Judge is very familiar with Northern California and the surrounding area because he is from California.

Curry is the authority on what life is like when you're a sports star. He could give Judge an idea of what to expect when he returns to the west coast.
