The man who was arrested in South Florida is wanted in Oklahoma for the murders of four people at a marijuana farm.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said that the suspect in the killings was taken into custody by the Miami Beach police.

The vehicle he was driving was flagged by a car tag reader. The suspect will be extradited to Oklahoma to face charges.

Four people, three men and one woman, all Chinese citizens, were shot to death on a 10-acre property northwest of Oklahoma City. A Chinese citizen was wounded and taken to an Oklahoma City hospital.

The victims had not yet been identified, and officials were still trying to notify next of kin.

The name of the suspect was being kept under wraps to avoid endangering other people.

Thanks to an open-ended law that put in place fewer restrictions than other states, the medical marijuana industry boomed in Oklahoma.

Voters will decide in March if the drug should be legalized.

In this month's election, Maryland and Missouri became the 21st and 22nd states to allow recreational marijuana. Voters in Arkansas, North Dakota and South Dakota did not approve of legalization.
