The Supreme Court unanimously rejected Trump's request to block the congressional committee from obtaining his federal income tax returns.

On the same day that the Supreme Court moved, Trump saw ominous signs in three other courts where he has cases.

Two criminal investigations of Trump and a civil lawsuit threaten his New York-based company. The Trump Organization is on trial in New York for an alleged tax avoidance scheme. All of the cases have Trump denying any wrongdoing.

The Supreme Court always rule against me. The post was written on his Truth Social account. The Supreme Court has become nothing more than a political body with our country paying the price.

He said to shame on them.

The Supreme Court previously refused to take cases that sought to reverse his loss in the presidential election. The Trump campaign did not prove election fraud in many lawsuits.

The latest refusals by the court are a sore point for Trump, as he appointed the justices. The nine-justice bench had four conservatives on it.

The court rejected Trump's attempt to block the Ways and Means Committee from getting his tax returns from the IRS as part of a probe of how the tax agency audits the returns of sitting presidents. There was no dissent from the order.

The victory of the committee comes just weeks before the Republicans take control of the House.

There is a question of what the panel will do with the returns before the GOP takes control.

Even if there is no investigation, Trump will still face a number of legal problems as he seeks the presidency in four years.

A panel of judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit appeared to be leaning in favor of the Department of Justice at a hearing Tuesday.

A number of records that were classified were removed from the White House by Trump. In August, the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.

The only thing different about this case is that it involves a former president, said appeals court Judge Bill Pryor during Tuesday's oral arguments.

We have to be concerned about the precedent that we would create that would allow any target of a federal criminal investigation to go into a district court and have a district court entertain this kind of petition and interfere with the executive branch's ongoing investigation.

A Georgia state grand jury heard testimony in private from a senator. The grand jury is looking into whether Trump and his allies interfered in the presidential election in Georgia, which Biden won.

The Supreme Court denied Graham's request to block a subpoena for his testimony, which was expected to focus on contacts he had with Georgia election officials as Trump tried to reverse his loss in the state.

Lawyers for Trump appeared in the Supreme Court. A trial date has been set for October in a civil lawsuit that accuses the ex-president, three of his adult children and the Trump Organization of widespread fraud.

A number of issues, including what the judge has suggested was her rehashing already-failed arguments in a motion to toss out the case, were the subject of a heated argument between the two lawyers.

The facts seem to be the same. The laws are the same. There are the same people. The attorney general staff needs to go through this again, and I don't know why I and my staff aren't mentioning it. It's similar to jumping through the same hoops.

Over the years, Trump has dragged out legal proceedings.

Kevin Wallace is a lawyer for the AG's office.

Wallace said that they're trying to push this into the future.
