According to sources, Sean Kugler was fired by the ArizonaCardinals after he groped a woman in Mexico City.
Mexican authorities were notified of the incident, which happened Sunday night, and then informed the Cards, who terminated Kugler and sent him back to Arizona. The team arrived in Mexico City on the weekend.
Kugler is accused of hitting a woman.
James Saxon, a former running backs coach, turned himself in to police in Indiana after he was accused of attacking a woman. He was sentenced in October to one year in jail but it was suspended and he was given one year of supervision.
Saxon was put on administrative leave when he was arrested. In October, Saxon stepped down.
Kugler has been a football coach since 1990. He joined the staff in 2019.
The 49ers defeated the Cards 38-10 on Monday.
