Yuki Kobayashi: Celtic sign Japanese defender on five-year deal

A five-year contract has been signed by a Japanese defender.

Daizen Maeda is one of six countrymen who have represented their country at under-20 level.

He will join the squad on December 1st.

"Celtic has a great track record of success over the years and I know that," centre-back Kobayashi said.

I want to help bring more great moments to the club.

"I can't wait to work with him as a coach and the great team of players he has already developed," said Kobayashi.

"Yuki is someone that we've been following for a while and it was a great chance to bring him in." They are hard to find because he is a left-sided centre-back.
