I'm happy to be staying at Manchester City for two more years.

"Thank you so much to everyone at the club for trusting me," he said. I have everything I need to do my job and I'm happy.

The next 10 years will be amazing for this club. This club is so stable that it will happen in the next decade.

I still think we can achieve more together and that's why I want to stay.

The current premier league champion, City, are second in the table this season, five points behind the leader, and face a tough opponent in the round of 16.

The chairman said he was happy to extend the contract.

"He has contributed so much to the success and fabric of this organization, and it's exciting to think what might be possible given the energy, hunger and ambition that he clearly still has," said Al Mubarak.

A City style of football that is admired the world over has been achieved under his leadership.

I am looking forward to what's to come.

Before he joined City, he was a successful manager at two other German clubs.

He has won 14 trophies in four years and is the most successful manager in the history of the club. He won titles at three different places.
