Pets shouldn't be put into the X-ray tunnel and screened according to the official website of the Transportation Security Administration.
It is not uncommon for animals to be found in suitcases.
An employee of Southwest found a dog in a couple's suitcase at an airport. The dog was asleep in one of the couple's cowboy boots when the suitcase was opened.
The agency didn't say anything. Insider did not get a response from Delta.
