Frontier eliminates phone support for customers

Customer support is no longer provided by Frontier Airlines on the phone.

The carrier's former customer support number is now answered by a message.

The lowest fares in the industry are offered by our airlines. It's easy to find what you need at FlyFrontier.com or on our mobile app because we want our customers to operate efficiently. We offer a chat service as well.

Customers can't speak with an agent on the recording.

It's not clear when Frontier stopped staffing the phone line with agents.

On Tuesday, the change was noted on the social networking site.

Frontier would be the largest airline in the US not to offer telephone assistance. Breeze Airways is a discount carrier. Telephone support is not offered by the discount startup.
