Before Friday's World Cup game with the United States, England captain Harry Kane is going to have a medical check on his ankle.

Kane was knocked out early in the second half of the game against Iran.

After he was replaced by Wilson, he was seen with a bandage on his ankle.

Kane is going to have a Scan on Wednesday to find out the severity of the problem.

He has scored 51 goals for the Three Lions.

As he prepares his team for the second game of the group stage, England's boss will be hoping that Kane's scans are positive.

Midfielder James Maddison missed the Iran match as he heals from a knee issue, while defender Harry Maguire was sick on Monday.

Wilson did not train with the rest of the substitutes at England's Al Wakrah training base on Wednesday, but is not considered a fitness doubt.
