The first thing that comes to my mind when I see the new logo for the brand is that it is very simple and clean. Many people have a reaction that is more along the lines of "Wait... what does that mean?"

According to data posted by an ad agency owner, there are over 30,000 web searches forKN car every month. The spike in searches seems to have been caused by people trying to figure out if they missed the launch of a new car company. Other popular searches with thousands of hits per month include the name of the car, the logo, and the carnival car. The data is backed up by anecdotal experience, such as when I brought this story up in a chat room, four of my colleagues wondered whoKN was.

It is hard to blame people for being confused by the new logo because it is not a company most people would think of when looking at a car. The hyper-modern, joined-up lettering of its new logo doesn't help matters, especially when it adorns a sedan, SUV, or SUV with a very boring design. When you see a logo on a car that passes you on the road, you wonder what it means.

A year and a half ago, Creative Bloq wrote about people being confused by the new logo. Ford's screams the company's name at you, but how do you find the Mercedes, Mazda, or Subaru logo if you don't know their names? The Nine Inch Nails logo is confusing, but the statistics give us a better idea of how many people are getting confused by it.

When asked for comment on the confusion, the company didn't reply immediately.

The good news for those who are confused is that the top result for "KN car" is the website of the manufacturer, or at least it was before it got covered up by the news.

The state of search in 2022: the actual result people are looking for buried by news articles and an answer that’s probably incorrect in this context.

DuckDuckGo and Bing didn't do well when The Drive searched for "KN car" When I tried it, the two search engines still didn't show the website in their results; the former only has one link to the site on its first page of results, and it pointed people to the Niro page. The articles that have been written about the confusion should get people on the correct path.

K&N car parts, a brand some people may be familiar with, is the real victim in all of this, I think. It is currently ranked high in theKN car search results, but there is a chance that it will be buried by a small overcorrection. It's your time to shine, Wix Filters, a brand that hasn't had to deal with any issues of its own.

The number of searches for "KN car" is a lot, but it's barely notable compared to the number of people searching for "Kia."

The Kia brand is still strong. Relatively speaking, anyways.
